Students are reading and writing in a world full of text and images> that> are found in multiple places and spaces.
In this interactive session we will explore and learn how to support our students' literacy
development in this multimodal age using web based tools such as Glogster, audio
and visual tools such as Audacity, Garage Band and iMovie to create
podcasts and vodcasts, screencasting tools with Jing and SMART Board Notebook
and blogging tools such as Blogger, Wordpress, Type with Me and Wikispaces to
initiate collaborative work with students and their peers.
